Transport drivers are one of the key factors in successful rescue, next to the foster home we could not do what we do without them. Dogs in need come from all over the country, and our Foster homes span coast to coast. We depend on volunteer transport driver to help these dogs onto a better life.
Transporting dogs is a very unique and meaningful experience. Each time you bring a dog into your vehicle a special bond is formed, even when it is only for an hour or two. After you have handed him off to the next driver you find yourself thinking of that dog all day. We make it a point to keep all the drivers updated on their progress as the transport progresses to the destination. At the end of the transport we make sure everyone gets to see the photo of the end result of their efforts. If you can’t foster or adopt it is a great way to spend some time with these beautiful. silly, fun loving dogs!
